Bert Nepveu (Triptyq Capital), Jeff Crusey (7Percent Ventures), JP Minetos (Hartmann Capital, $55M)

Bert has entrepreneurship in his blood like his grandfather Ernest who founded LAVO, manufacturer of the bleach brand La Parisienne. Passionate about video games and gadgets, he founded Vrvana in 2005 to play his favorite games on Xbox in virtual reality. After several pivots: combining augmented and virtual reality, transitioning from a B2C to B2B model, and adding hands as a controller, the Totem won the prestigious Best in Show award from Tom’s Hardware at CES 2017. That’s when he and his team moved to California to continue the adventure with Apple in what became the Vision Pro. After almost 3 years, he returns to Montréal and co-founds Triptyq Capital to support the new generation of entrepreneurs in the creative industries. Bertrand holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Sherbrooke and an MBA from HEC Montreal. He his also the co-author du Manisfeste québécois du Métavers.

West Coast born Jeff is a founder-turner-investor that has operated on both sides of the pond, investing broadly across deep tech on and off for the last 20 years. As a co-founder and CEO at DeepSee, Jeff and his team developed one of the first varifocal XR headsets. He previously led investment teams at DTE Energy Ventures (2008), Viasat (2019), and Seraphim Capital (2020).

JP focuses on Spatial computing + immersive tech investments at Hartmann Metaverse Ventures, the venture arm of Hartmann Capital. He is future oriented - interested in the world around us and the one that lies ahead of us. He loves analyzing the infrastructure of today and figuring out how to implement the characteristics of Web3 into future technologies.
